Yes, oh best beloveds, I am now on Twitter. You can find me there either via Aundrea Singer or Taste_is_Sweet. I haven't tweeted anything yet in terror of it disappearing into the ether with a deafening and humiliating silence. Because I'm assuming that, like LJ, if you follow someone you can read their tweets, but no one will read your tweets unless they follow you, right?

I feel like the new kid in the high school cafeteria, here. Does anyone want to be my twitter friend? I promise I don't pick my nose in public and I bathe regularly.

No one will read your tweets unless they follow you, but like LJ, they can look them up and read them if they know your name unless your entire twitter account is locked.

I'm there as Sarah Madison (https://twitter.com/SarahMadisonFic) if you're interested, also as Squee Weekend.

Once you add people, you can put them in lists that allow you to open just that page of people at a time--which is nice when you start to follow a lot of people. For example, I have a list for celebrities, one for friends, one for DSP authors, etc. Helps if I want to check out what my friends are doing but don't want to wade through a 100 people promoting their latest novel, etc. :-)

I really enjoy Twitter. Meh about Facebook, though. I don't remember seeing you on the list though (that's what comes from having too many followers, that's why lists become important--I've missed some important tweets from friends before!)

Nope, can't find you. Do you have a link? That's why I renamed my twitter account with my pen name--if people don't know exactly what your twitter name is, it can be hard to find...
