So, my son has to get out of bed to use the potty....
And he tells me he has to poo, and he's doing his thing and I'm waiting...and waiting...and waiting...and reminding him that this is why we eat vegetables, sweetheart, and wondering if he's going to break something, when he finally does the deed. Relief all 'round, etc.
Because he's three, he finds this stuff endlessly fascinating. So he's staring into the toilet. Suddenly he points down and says, "That one looks like a butterfly! And that one looks like a heart, and that one looks like a hat!"
I'm anticipating now that one day, much as I hate to curtail his creativity, I'll have to teach him that this is not the sort of exercise one engages in within earshot of anyone else. Mostly I'm hoping he'll figure it out on his own.
Wonders never ceasing, lemme tell ya. Yep.
