Self, I don't get it.

For some reason, back around 2006 I decided to write everything in present tense. Why, brain? Why? This is the second WIP I've had to put into past tense before I could continue it. My present tense sounds so pretentious sophomoric silly strange now. I just can't get into it. Weird.

I've certainly read present stuff and liked it. I have not tried it myself yet,however.

You're right--and I changed the post to say my present tense sounds pretentious etc. Because it does. But I've also read that style and liked it very much. I just know know why I had such a thing for it all those years ago...
