Harper Voyager to Accept Unagented Manuscripts for Two Weeks
I don't think I can take advantage of this--I have an agent, and he couldn't sell the one manuscript I had finished. Not to mention that it's the same novel I realized kind of sucks.
So unfortunately, no. Probably not for me. But I'm happy to pass on the opportunity. :D

18/9/12 20:48 (UTC)I still have a feeling that you've got the right of it--that HC is going for people they can exploit for little to no money to establish their own ebook line. But yes, it might be a good way in.
OTOH, if they're not offering advances or much in the way of royalties, you might as well self-publish. At least you get a larger percentage. :)
