Yeah, he does have a big sweet tooth! Luckily he has more restraint than I do--he left most of the cupcake behind. (The icing's the best part anyway, right?)
Heeee! He's so gorgeous :D He looks like he's really enjoying that cupcake! I loved the concentration on the dancing, too.
Emrys surprised us the other day by dancing when Arni put on a Cat Empire CD. Unfortunately we weren't quite quick enough with the video camera this time. It's so cute though :D
Do you get Cbeebies? They have a program called Boogie Beebies where they learn a dance. The kids always look like they're having a great time.
Thank you. I think he's gorgeous, of course, but it's so nice when others think so, too.... :)
He seems to really love dancing. I'm even thinking about enrolling him in some kind of non-competitive dance class thing when he's older. He might like it.
My sister might get Cbeebies back in Canada, but we certainly don't down here, unfortunately. That show sounds like fun.
Please do post video of Emrys! I'd love to see him! Is he two now?
Ems is almost 19 months now. I should try and post some video - will have to look into how to do that! Also some photos. It's been far too long since I updated his LJ :$
Don't you love watching what they take an interest in? :D Emrys likes horses, but he's far more interested in horsepower, for instance (he's definitely born into the right family for both :P ). He likes to draw (including on the just-painted walls, argh) and he likes to make a lot of noise in the percussion cupboard (where the pots and pans are). I'm so looking forward to seeing whether he loves reading just as much as we do!
My son loves piecing together his wooden train tracks. He'll build elaborate, twisting railways with beautiful long bridges, then tell me stories about the little wooden trains he pushes along them. And he loves cars. A single little matchbox car will make him happy for days.
He isn't terribly interested in reading though, unfortunately. He loves being read to, but so far hasn't shown much reading readiness at all. I fear he might not start reading until he's in kindergarten. :( But hopefully he'll still love to do it.
Posting video was surprisingly easy. I just upload it to my photobucket account, and it gives me the code right there to embed it. It's great!
