This happens to me all the time; I have a fairly common Gmail address--buffalogirl. What's funny is that someone named Richard apparently gives it out a lot; he lives in Ohio, owns a Volkswagen, has a gym membership, donates to the Mercy Home for Boys and Girls, attended the University of Omaha in Nebraska, and subscribes to Bloomberg Business Week. Your suggestion of doing a Facebook search is great...I use it so little, I never thought of this.
