Oh, yes. The world becomes an absolute cesspool when you have to think about your kids touching things and then putting their fingers in their mouths. Or licking shoes.
I was thinking of you when I wrote this, as a matter of fact. :) Javier used to chew his shoes as well, for the same reason, but this was purely experimental. On the other hand, Javier really doesn't like poo of any kind and will actively avoid it, so hopefully he wouldn't lick a shoe that smelled like it.
I hope Emrys isn't the same kind of curious, or that he doesn't want to be near poo either, when he's old enough to be walking around.
