Apparently every single character in this fucking story gets angry at some point, and I have completely run out of adjectives to describe their expressions.
Seriously. This is like, 'hammered her feet like hammers'. I have been trying to write the way this one guy looks, uh, intense? Only it's not intense, it's kind of deadly, maybe sort of thunderous (though that's way too Regency Romance), dark? Quietly angry? (Because I haven't used the word 'angry' forty billion times already. Or the word 'quiet'.) Darkly quietly angry? Intensely quietly dark?
HELP ME. THERE ARE NO MORE WORDS IN MY BRAIN.
I'm not even sure how I'm writing this post. Maybe it's all just the muscle memory in my fingers.
Maybe I should just go to bed. The bedroom is dark and intensely quiet. But not thunderous, except for my husband's snoring.
Right. Bed. Yeah.
