Any of my Flisties out there with a sci-fi or fantasy novel ready to go?

Harper Voyager to Accept Unagented Manuscripts for Two Weeks

I don't think I can take advantage of this--I have an agent, and he couldn't sell the one manuscript I had finished. Not to mention that it's the same novel I realized kind of sucks.

So unfortunately, no. Probably not for me. But I'm happy to pass on the opportunity. :D

Have you seen any of the postings about [livejournal.com profile] fan2originalfic?

It's a new com that might be of interest to you anyway and they'd probably be really interested in this.

The thing that gives me some pause about this is that it's digital-only, and I can't find any information about advances or royalties on the FAQ part of the website. It kinda feels like they're trying to lure in authors with the HarperCollins name while not really offering that much value for it, at least no more than you could get from any small epublisher. (But maybe I'm just being cynical.)
