It's a poll, but what I really love about this is how Nathan Fillion is Canadian and Alex O'Loughlin's from Australia. It's the Battle of the Commonwealth Cuties! ::Cue theme music::

Looks-wise, I'll be completely shallow and say O'Loughlin wins (I mean seriously, he looks genetically-engineered). But since the 'contest' is about the characters, I'm totally going for Castle. And only slightly because he's played by a Canadian. :D

It's probably very shallow of me to vote for Alex, because I think he's a total hottie, but I haven't actually seen Castle so I can't compare them on acting.

Also I have to be neutral on Nationality because I live in Wales.

Wish they had a show where Joe Flanigan was a detective and David Hewlett was his boyfriend who worked in the forensics lab ..........

I don't think I can take credit for this bunny - I was thinking of a fanfic I've read before.

I do get a lot of random plot bunnies while chatting to friends. Unfortunately they to tend to turn up while I'm in the middle of another project.

I've written the first section. It has Rodney and John in it, and possibly some other SGA characters, but I've created an original world of my own, like you did in Sacrificial Mage (although it probably won't be as long, unless you're willing to wait two years for me to finish).
