Ahahaa! That comic is amazing!

Also, your writing doesn't suck atall! Banish that thought out past your half-goblin's realm! ;-)

Thank you. :D It was fun to do, I'll admit. Certainly made the rest of the writing day better. Heh.

::Giggle::

Oh sweetie. ::HUGS:: It's one way of solving plot dilemmas - rocks fall, everyone dies.

Umm, but I take serious issue with the idea that "the rest of [your] writing" sucks. If it does, so does my taste. Nyah?

Take care of you. Hope your boys start behaving soon.

Well, your taste definitely doesn't suck! :D But I really like your idea of rockfalls! I'm sure I could find a convenient avalanche in downtown Toronto...

The boys are behaving a bit better, and hey! The helicopter's on fire! Which is good! But bad! But good!

I'm so sorry you want to punt your main character off a bridge! It will improve. You're just in a "stuck" place at the moment. I hate it when it happens to me, so I totally get your desires.

Thank you. Things did go better after that (probably because I got a good laugh out of doing the comic, though I didn't post it until late last night). No-one's getting punted off a bridge for the foreseeable future, anyway. :D

YOUR WRITING DOES NOT SUCK.

There.

And I have frequently felt about my bike the way you feel about your character - wanting to throw it in the canal, that is :P I hope things get better soon!

Thank you. ♥

My character would be too heavy to throw in a canal, since I'd have to pick him up. :) But I hope your biking is better, too. :D

Poor you, I hope your muses behave themselves better! *gives them the ev0l eye for you*

But I had to LOL at your comic, it was great! And then it reminded me of the old Belmondo movie "Le Manifique" (spelling probably shot as I never did learn French) in which he played a middle-aged action series writer who met a nice young(er) girl who was interested in his main character, the super-dooper 007-like hero (also played by Belmondo), and in his frustration the writer made the hero clumsy, stupid, impotent, gave him boils and made him sick with the flu -- before throwing him off a cliff into the sea. (Though as the girl kept coming back the writer kept resurrecting the hero, so it was actually a pretty good drama/comedy.) Best movie on the meta of story-making I've seen to date, and I really should find it somewhere for a rewatch; I guess I just wanted to say thanks for reminding me of it, and you're not the only writer who wanted to do physical harm to their characters at some point or other. *squishes*

How old is that movie? It sounds like a lot of fun.

Thank you for the sympathy and commiseration. ::Squishes you back:: The poor dude's got a reprieve for the moment, though. I even managed more than 500 words today! For the first time all week! And it only took me all afternoon! :P

It's loads of fun, if you can find it; it's from 1973, other info about it here.

Yay for progress in writing! 500 is still 500 words, don't knock it, tomorrow it will be 1000, then 2000, and in no time you'll be wishing the muses of lay off already as there's not enough hours in the day. ;-)

And the best part is, since this is your character, you can throw him off the bridge as many times as you want! (Although the traffic may not be very happy about this.) It'd be awesome if all writing related frustrations can also be kicked off like this.

It would be! Though plots would get very repetitive eventually... :D

"Yes darling, but it's okay because she was very, very frustrated."

"Okay mommy. You shouldn't make nice ladies frustrated like that."

"No honey, you shouldn't, and that bad, bad character should have realized that."

"At least he hit that soft truck on the way down!"

"Yes baby, and it looks like that nice red-headed man is helping him now. Maybe that story will get finished after all."

"I hope so mommy! That nice lady's been working really hard."

"Yes sweetums, she has."

THE END!

(bwa ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!)

Squeaky

ps. Your comic is made of win! Too bad your writing sucks... Oh, I mean your *hand* writing, of course! What other writing could I *possibly* mean?

Loved the cartoon. I hope that drawing it helped you vent some of that frustration.

Your writing certainly doesn't suck, pretty much the oposite really, and who cares about handwriting when we have keyboards anyway?
