This struck a chord with me because I've gotten caught in a conversation with a lovely lady who had Alzheimer's and she would be perfectly lucid one minute and calling me by her daughter's name the next and telling me it was time to go home, she'd been waiting long enough. I did an awkward shuffle too, and it was Florida in the summer. Heh. So, again, this rang very true to life. You always do such a lovely job in bringing your characters to life with words and images.
